    The Veterans:
    Raffy Reavis (Born 1977)
    Peter Simon (Born 1980)
    Marc Pingris (Born 1981)

Star must already prepare for the expected near retirement of these veterans:

    Standhardinger will replace Reavis
    Herndon will replace Simon
    Gabayni will replace Pingris

    SF: Sargent, Gamalinda, Dela Rosa
    PF: Pingris, Ramos, Sangalang,
    C: Standhardinger, Reavis, Gabayni

Melton, Brondial and Pascual are out.
    Abundo and Mendoza are reserves.

I know, labis yung rookies. Gusto ko makuha nila Herndon (can play 1-3) for offense, Sargent for defense (offense can still improve). Gabayni is 6'5 and wide enough and can play Center ala Belga.

With the impending trade of Kia's 1st pick to SMB, i don't expect Standhardinger to land in the Star line-up for 2018, so this is my new fantasy line-up

    PG: Lee, Barroca and Jalalon
SG: Simon, dela Rosa, Jeron Teng (Traded for Melton & 9th pick),
SF: Ramos, Gamalinda, Robbie Herndon or Andreas Cahilig (16th pick)
PF: Pingris, Brondial, Joseph Gabayni or Jon Gabriel (14th pick)
    C: Sangalang, Reavis, Pascual

Kiefer is 2017 PBA Draft Combine MVP

By Paul Lintag on Oct 24, 2017 06:10 PM

Kiefer won MVP after leading his team to the championship of the Combine's mini-tournament, beating a Jeron Teng-led squad in the Final, 83-72.

Yep, Kiefer Ravena is ready for the big league.

The Phenom capped an impressive lead-up to the 2017 PBA Draft, capturing Most Valuable Player honors at the end of the two-day Combine Tuesday at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong.

Kiefer won MVP after leading his team to the championship of the Combine's mini-tournament, beating a Jeron Teng-led squad in the Final, 83-72.

Joining Kiefer, projected to be a top-2 overall pick in Sunday's Draft, in the Mythical selection were Teng, Jason Perkins, Raymar Jose, and Robbie Herndon.

    - From the Draft Combine, Star should make a move to get Teng and Herndon, surely it will greatly boost the wings of Star Hotshots.
